PM, cabinet members visiting Nakhon Phanom | Bangkok Post: news


Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and members of his cabinet flew by military plane from Don Mueang air force base on Monday morning to Nakhon Phanom province in the Northeast. Those accompanying him included Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak, Interior Minister Anupong Paojinda, Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Chatchai Sarikulya and PM's Office Minister Suvit Maesincee. From the Nakhon Phanom airport, Gen Prayut and his entourage were to meet the people at Ban Nadon Mai School in tambon Khok Hin Hae of Renu Nakhon district. In the afternoon, the prime minister was to attend a meeting of the Central Public-Private Consultative Committee and a joint economic commitee of Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon and Mukdahan provinces to discuss development projects for food and agriculture, tourism promotion and water management. Gen Prayut and his entourage would then visit an area designated for the Nakhon Phanom exclusive economic zone and be briefed on a Mekong tourism promotion project, followed by a visit to a tourist landmark, Phraya Srisattanakaraj, in Muang district of Nakhon Phanom.
